I am István Matán from Pécs.

We started to deal with a dogs in the middle of 1980’s  on hobby level.
We applied for the Pécsszabolcsi Kennel Name in 1990.

In the early  90’s I saw 2 female Dogue de Bordeaux at the CACIB dog show in Budapest own. Then I decided to have these kind of dogs.

In 1992, one year letter, I was succeded to buy my first Dogue de Bordeaux, “Korona Gina” fom Janos Keller.

First, we started to go for dog shows. After winning of  many exhibition, the serious results  started to came. We got the folowing results at the first 4 Molosser Club Show:
4x class winner, 2x Best of Breed, 1x RES. Best in Show winner.
She was the national champion of the CMC in 1996. She got the third place at the World Exhibition. We had some couple of bedding from Gina and her Daughter. A  young club winner in Canada and a third place on Europe show was won by our dogs with the name of the Kennel of Pécsszabolcs

We had no dogs for 8 years from 2000. We had to apply for  our Kennel name again. Then in 2008 Harnos Box Guffi aka Sophie became the member of our family.

From the first litter of Sophie, we kept Amina, who was Best in Show 3rd place at the CMC baby.

I owe a lot to my family,because of  helping my work to achieve my dreams, because my adult children have also tried the word of dog breeding.

The future aim of breeding, healthy Dogues de Bordeaux with pretty good nervous system.
